ALPENROSENCUP

The GFC-Westendorf once again invites you to the traditional AlpenrosenCup paragliding competition (FAI Cat II competition) on 22nd and 23rd, June 2024. This year, not only the Tyrolean national championship, but also the Bavarian championship will be held.

Procedure
The start of the pilots for the individual competition rounds is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at around 10:30 am on the Choralpe. The participants must complete a predetermined route flight with several turning points in the Kitzbühel Alps and the neighbouring Pinzgau region. The turning points will be redefined daily depending on the weather and thermal conditions. If wind conditions permit, a flight route will be chosen that allows spectators to watch the pilots for longer. All flight data will be broadcast live on https://lt.flymaster.net/ and can be followed in real time.

Arrival at 3:00 pm.

The pilots are scheduled to arrive at the landing site at the valley station of the Alpenrosenbahn cable car in Westendorf from around 3:00 pm in the afternoon. As usual, the members of the GFC-Westendorf will cater for the physical well-being of the spectators at the valley station of the Alpenrosenbahn.
